ShrewdListener being a fan since shortly after Art for Sale, I can only be astounded at such an aptly titled "re-invention" of his sound and song structure into something that sounds jarringly natural/unique. I think 'My River' best exemplifies the conceptual change in ethos while still being vintage Bass D, whose lyrical honesty again exudes the aura: "INSTANTLY NEW".but the whole work is fantastic as he challenges himself and the listener like only he can, and we are again privy to the glorious results!
